Dear Parents of Carrizo Springs Intermediate

We want to make you aware of a threat that was made to your child’s campus today.  Immediately following the report, the CSCISD Police Department and campus administration began a thorough investigation.  At this time, the CSCISD Police Department has determined there is no real threat to the campus.

We take any threat against our campus seriously.  I want to encourage you to please talk to your children about the serious nature of making threats because those words can lead to significant district and legal consequences.

Please know, we ALWAYS take these matters seriously and investigate them fully.  I want to assure you, if we believe at any point there is a legitimate threat to our schools, we will immediately communicate with parents via the school website, emails, and social media posting.  There is nothing more important to us than the safety of our students and staff.

    Sincerely

    Sofia Morones
    Interim Superintendent of Schools
