  • Middle of Year School - Parent Goals

Dear Parents and Family Members: Our schools are in the process of monitoring the development of our parent involvement program. Parents play an important role in the intellectual, social, and emotional growth of their children. This program is designed to help children become more successful in school by working with their parents during these important years. In order to design a program that will meet the needs of you and your child and help us form a better partnership please go to the CSCISD website (main page) to complete one survey for each school that you have a child attend. We appreciate your feedback.

A note from the Director:

Welcome to the 2020-2021 Carrizo Springs Intermediate Band Program! We are excited to have You interested in this award-winning program. You may have many questions about your upcoming musical journey and where to begin. Due to the current pandemic and keeping your safety in mind as well as those around you, we ask that you follow the proper steps to get you signed up and ready for band.

I have provided a link to a google document that needs to be filled our by your parent/guardian. This form is to provide your basic information and the opportunity for you to select your instrument. Keep in mind there are limited spots available for each instrument. The selection will be based on a first come first serve. If you have any questions on the instruments that we offer to teach, we have provided a video by the United States Army band presenting and performing each instrument. This video can be found below. If you and your student are interested in joining, keep in mind that band is a yearlong commitment to the organization and you will not be able to switch out of band once the year begins. Please fill out the 6th Grade Band Enrollment link below.

Parents, we look forward in providing your child a learning and enriching life experience as they start their musical journey in the Carrizo Springs CISD band program. Please do not hesitate to call or email me in regards to  any questions you may have.

    All the Best,
